Penn State Women’s Volleyball Falls To No. 16 In Latest AVCA Poll
Penn State women’s volleyball has fallen two spots to No. 16 in the AVCA poll, the association announced Monday.
The Nittany Lions are coming off of a three-set win against Michigan and a three-set loss to Michigan State this past week.
Since falling to then-No. 16 Tennessee on September 20, Penn State has dropped significantly in the polls. The loss against Michigan State puts them at 9-3 on the year and marks the team’s first loss this season against a non-ranked opponent.
Penn State will host No. 1 Nebraska at Rec Hall at 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 1. The game will be broadcasted on the Big Ten Network.
