[Photo Story] Penn State Fall Sports In Black & White

The fall semester is coming to a close, folks.

As the end of the year nears, we thought it would be fun to let our visual staff go through and re-edit some of their favorite sports photos from the semester in a dramatic black-and-white style.

Let’s take a look at what they came up with:

The Beaver Stadium White Out looks even more dramatic in black and white.

This dramatic editing style lets you get up close and personal with some of your favorite Penn State basketball players.

Penn State women’s volleyball is still alive in the NCAA Tournament after a dramatic season of its own.

The black-and-white color scheme is pretty fitting with Penn State hockey’s struggles this season.

Wrestling is already a dynamic sport, and the black-and-white photos only emphasize it further.

Football’s road white uniforms look pretty good in monochrome as well.

Even though both soccer seasons have come to a close, it’s still fun to look back on some old pictures.

You didn’t think we’d leave out field hockey, did you?
