Former Penn State Football Tight End Jerry Cross Transfers To Memphis

Former Penn State football tight end Jerry Cross has committed to transfer to Memphis, he announced Saturday during the Nittany Lions’ College Football Playoff game against SMU. Cross became the first Penn State transfer to find a new home.

The Milwaukee, Wisconsin, native appeared in seven games over three seasons. He played in two this season and five last season and has not registered any statistics. He didn’t see action during his true freshman season. Cross has two years of eligibility remaining.

Thus far, four Nittany Lions have announced their decisions to enter the transfer portal. Cross was joined by quarterback Beau Pribula and defensive lineman TA Cunningham.
