Three-Star Safety King Mack Transfers Back To Penn State Football

Three-star transfer safety King Mack has committed to Penn State football, he announced Sunday. Mack signed with the Nittany Lions out of high school and played in all 13 games in his first season before transferring to Alabama.

Mack was primarily a special teamer at Penn State and recorded three tackles and a quarterback hurry. He transferred to Alabama in May 2024 where he recorded stats in nine games, totaling just 14 tackles.

Coming out of high school, the Fort Lauderdale, Florida native was a four-star recruit, the nation’s No. 7 safety, and the No. 22 player from Florida.

Mack now joins a host of transfers joining the Nittany Lions for the 2025 season, including Devonte Ross, Kyron Hudson, Enai White, Owen Wafle, and TJ Shanahan Jr.
