Penn State Football Defensive End Dani Dennis-Sutton Returns For 2025 Season

Penn State football defensive end Dani Dennis-Sutton will return for the 2025 season, he announced on Monday. Dennis-Sutton’s decision came after similar moves from running backs Nick Singleton and Kaytron Allen.
Dennis-Sutton was a five-star recruit in the class of 2022. He was the No. 1 player from Maryland, the No. 7 defensive lineman, and the No. 29 overall player in the nation, per the 247Sports Composite rankings.
As a freshman, Dennis-Sutton appeared in all 13 games and made 17 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, three sacks, two pass breakups, and one interception. In 2023, he made three starts, appeared in 13 games, and recorded 26 tackles, six tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, forced two fumbles, and broke up one pass.
Dennis-Sutton had a career year in 2024 where he made 14 starts in 16 games and posted 42 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, 8.5 sacks, forced two fumbles, broke up four passes, and made an impressive leaping interception in the Orange Bowl.
Dennis-Sutton is the fifth Nittany Lion to announce his return for the 2025 season, along with Drew Allar, Zakee Wheatley, Zane Durant, Singleton, and Allen.
