Penn State Football Defensive Tackle Coziah Izzard Declares For NFL Draft

Penn State football defensive tackle Coziah Izzard has declared for the 2025 NFL Draft, he announced Saturday. Izzard is the eighth Nittany Lion to declare for the draft.
Izzard came to Penn State as a four-star recruit in the class of 2020 from DeMatha Catholic High School in Laurel, Maryland. According to the 247Sports Composite rankings, he was the No. 11 player from his home state and the No. 25 defensive tackle in the nation.
Izzard appeared in three games as a freshman and redshirted that season. In 2021, he appeared in 13 games, made seven starts, and recorded 21 tackles, three for a loss, two sacks, and a forced fumble.
In 2022, Izzard played in nine games and made 10 tackles, for a loss, and two sacks. Last season, he appeared in 11 more games, made 16 tackles, 3.5 for a loss, three sacks, and forced a fumble.
This past season was Izzard’s most productive. He played in 15 games and posted 31 tackles, seven for a loss, and two sacks.
Izzard joins fellow defensive players Abdul Carter, KJ Winston, Jalen Kimber, Jaylen Reed, Dvon J-Thomas, and Kobe King to declare for the draft. Sal Wormley is the only player on offense to declare.
