Penn State Men’s Volleyball Matches Against Ohio State Cancelled

Penn State men’s volleyball’s two matches against Ohio State have been cancelled and will not be rescheduled, a Penn State Athletics spokesperson announced Wednesday.
The matches were cancelled due to “illness within the Ohio State program.”
The Nittany Lions were scheduled to face the Buckeyes for its home opener at 7 p.m. on Thursday and again in Columbus at 3 p.m. on Sunday, January 26.
Penn State is coming off a four-game losing streak to start the 2025 season and recently dropped to No. 17 in the AVCA Coaches Poll.
The Nittany Lions next match will be in the Big Ten Challenge, also in Columbus, against No. 3 UCLA at 4 p.m. on Friday, January 31. Penn State faced the Bruins in the First Point Collegiate Challenge on Friday and lost 3-0.
