Cincinnati Bengals Sign Former Penn State Football Wide Reciever Mitchell Tinsley To Reserve/Future Contract

Former Penn State football wide receiver Mitchell Tinsley has signed a reserve/future contract with the Cincinnati Bengals, the Bengals announced Tuesday.

Tinsley played a sole season for the Nittany Lions in 2022. He snagged 51 receptions for 577 yards and five touchdowns in his time at Penn State. Before Penn State, Tinsley played two seasons at Western Kentucky, where he had a 1,400-yard, 14-touchdown season in 2021.

Tinsley signed with the Washington Commanders as an undrafted free agent in 2023, where he played in two games but recorded no statistics. He spent the 2024 NFL season on Washington’s practice squad.

Tinsley will officially count on the Bengals’ active list on February 10, the Monday after the Super Bowl.
