Five Penn State Football Players Invited To 2025 NFL Scouting Combine

Five Nittany Lions were invited to the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine, the league announced in its official prospect invite list on Thursday.

Tyler Warren, Abdul Carter, Kobe King, Jaylen Reed, and KJ Winston all received an invitation to showcase their skills for NFL scouts at Lucas Oil Stadium ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft. A total of 329 players were invited.

The combine process will serve as a better indicator as to where certain Nittany Lions may be selected in the draft. Warren and Carter are projected to go in the first round, with Carter even projected as a top-five pick in some mock drafts.

King, Reed, and Winston will work to use the combine to boost their draft stock, should they choose to accept their invitation. The defensive trio is projected as likely day two and three selections.

In 2024, eight Penn Staters heard their name called during the NFL Draft. Offensive lineman Olu Fashanu and edge rusher Chop Robinson were both selected in the first round, going to the New York Jets and Miami Dolphins, respectively. Caedan Wallace, Adisa Isaac, Theo Johnson, Hunter Nourzad, Daequan Hardy, and Kalen King were all selected as well.

The 2025 NFL Combine will take place from Thursday, February 27, to Sunday, March 2, at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. The 2025 NFL Draft will be held from Thursday, April 24, to Saturday, April 26, in Green Bay.
