Did you secure that last-minute Valentine and need some ideas for last-minute date spots? Or did you forget you had a Valentine and are scrambling for some plans? Well, we got you covered.

Our staff brainstormed some date spots throughout State College that will be sure to give you a romantic experience.

Findlay Commons

Freshman or fifth-year, Findlay Commons is a spot for all. With a wide array of bowls, a buffet, and a market with anything you can imagine, this is a prime spot to keep your Valentine happy and far from hungry.

Esports Gaming Lounge

Did you find your dream partner for Victory Royales? If so, the eSports gaming lounge is the perfect place to have a Fortnite date and secure some W’s. Just go to the White Building and start the grind.

The Lion’s Den

Interested in chatting over a couple of drinks? The Den is a great spot to bring your Valentine if you’re still in the talking stage or are trying to get over those first-date jitters. The best part is that age doesn’t matter!

Willard Building

Looking for a place with some ambiance? Or dinner and a show? Look no further, the Willard Building is your spot. With the Willard Preacher provided live entertainment, you will be sure to wow your date.

The Stacks

Are you looking for some peace and quiet? Maybe a little more of an intimate scene? The Stacks in the Penn State library will provide the perfect setting for you to get to know your valentine without distraction. Just watch out for whatever lurks in the shadows…

Sharkie’s

Do you want a place that has a rugged feel? Are you interested in challenging your valentine to a game of pool? Well, Sharkie’s has both. From touch tunes in every room to motorcycles outside, this State College dive bar has everything you may need, no matter where the night takes you.

The Cybertorium

If your date is a movie fanatic the cybertorium is a hidden gem on the west side of Penn State’s campus that can be transformed into a private movie theater with its large projector screen. Throw on some Valentine’s Day classics and see if you get through the whole thing.

Canyon Pizza

Is your valentine not quite what you were expecting, and you’re looking to end your date early? Take them to Canyon Pizza. This spot will move things along quickly, both in food service and some other things we won’t name on the internet.
