Best No. 46 Jerseys To Wear During THON 2025

The concourse during THON Weekend is always as colorful as a concourse can get. THON has almost every outfit you could think of from themed shirts to old Halloween costumes.

A popular choice every year is jerseys. Whether sporting Penn State legends or your childhood heroes, you really can’t go wrong. Why not make your jersey THON-themed and rep No. 46 for the 46 hours of THON? Here are some of the best No. 46 jerseys if you are looking for last-minute inspiration.

Herm Edwards

While his fame grew after his 10-year career in the NFL, Herm Edwards did still don the kelly green for the Philadelphia Eagles for quite some time. Edwards played cornerback at an elite level, recording 38 interceptions during his time in the league, including seven in one year.

He then went on to coach at the collegiate level with teams such as San Jose State and Arizona State, as well as in the NFL, most notably with the Jets. You can now find Edwards on ESPN as one of its football analysts.

Don Fleming

Unfortunately, Don Fleming, a former Cleveland Brown and Flordia Gator, had his career cut short due to a workplace accident in the offseason that led to his death. While on the gridiron, though, the defensive back made the most of it and earned the Gators’ captaincy in 1958.

In his two years with the Browns, he had 10 interceptions and four fumble recoveries for 160 return yards. Although his career was short, his legacy is immense. Rocking his shirt for THON Weekend is sure to hit.

Nick Tarburton

No. 46 isn’t that popular for Penn State football players, I guess. No one donned the number in 2024 or 2023. The last player to rep the No. 46 was Nick Tarburton in 2022, his redshirt senior year.

In his final season, Tarburton was voted All-Big Ten honorable mention for his 18 tackles, 5.5 were for loss, and two sacks. While the Tarburton jersey won’t be as recognized as Saquon Barkley’s No. 26, surely someone will know who it is or, who knows, maybe he is here.

Trevor Zegras

Most folks won’t remember this, but Trevor Zegras started his career as No. 46 for the Anaheim Ducks. He quickly changed to his favored No. 11 when Jamie Drysdale gave up the number after his rookie year.

Zegras is one of the sports rising stars and the Ducks jersey is one of the most colorful in all of sports. If you were lucky enough to get a No. 46 Zegras jersey before he swapped, it’s mandatory to wear for THON 2025.

Martin St. Louis

Another player to wear No. 46 during his rookie season was Martin St. Louis. He was drafted by the Calgary Flames in 1998, joining the Canadian team from Vermont. He later would settle with his famous No. 26

St. Louis is one of the most talented players of his generation, with 1033 career points on 391 goals and 642 assists. His elite skating and puck handling more than made up for his short stature.

David Krejci

The best hockey player to wear No. 46 for the majority of his career is David Krejci. The Boston Bruin won the Stanley Cup in 2011 and led the league in playoff points for both the 2011 and 2013 seasons.

Krejci’s last season in the NHL was in 2023, where he had 16 goals and 40 assists in 70 games played. The league legend ended his career with 786 total points. While a Boston jersey might not get the best reception in State College, I think folks can make an exception for THON Weekend.

John Konchar

No offense to John Konchar, but this was just to get a basketball player on the list. He is forever more talented than I am, but definitely the least known on this list. Regardless, the 28-year-old has spent the past six seasons with the Memphis Grizzlies.

If you are really looking for a basketball jersey to don this THON, Konchar is your best bet. He is averaging 2.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, and one assist in 2025.
