Kermit The Frog Is A Super Hero, Per THON’s Spiderman Kid

Early on Saturday morning, one of the children chosen for the superhero stretch activity was tasked with a difficult series of questions, who is your favorite superhero and what superpower do you want the most?

Like a true intellect, the child chose teleportation as his top choice for superpower. I mean, who wouldn’t want to be able to go to a beach in Cancun for the day and still be back in time for classes? I know we would.

His second answer, though, really threw the crowd for a loop. His favorite superhero was none other than Kermit the Frog.

At first, there were a few chuckles from the crowd, but quickly I think these so-called “college-educated” dancers and supporters realized they had been outsmarted by a child in a full Spiderman outfit.

You see, we are here to tell you that Kermit is a superhero. The frog is just a mastermind at hiding his abilities.

An example, for those that are still nonbelievers, comes from 1979’s “The Muppet Movie.” Kermit is faced with a tricky situation while on his bike. With objects closing in from the front and back, just look how he reacts.

Unless Kermit can teleport, how could he ever escape that situation?

The Spiderman kid set up his second answer perfectly with his first. He was playing chess and the rest of us were playing checkers.
