Kids & Teens Show Off In THON 2025 Talent Show

THON’s Kids Talent Show returned Saturday night, showcasing a wide variety of skills. From cheer routines to dance performances to an out-of-this-world lightsaber duel, these kids didn’t disappoint.
A group of music therapists from Penn State Health Music Therapy and Four Diamonds families kicked off the talent show by performing a song titled “Building A Home For Hope,” tying in Four Diamonds and THON themes. Throughout the original song, many children played different instruments and sang along. Right after the opener, Child Life specialists performed another original song to the tune of “Row, Row, Row Your Boat,” emphasizing the activities Four Diamonds children enjoy during instruments.
Kionne Abrams, along with members of Sigma Sigma Sigma and Zeta Beta Tau, took the stage and danced to “Footloose.” His performance included many impressive flips, tricks, and even handstands, making the crowd go wild.

Next up, Hailey Wile played the flute in a virtual performance displayed on the jumbotrons. Throughout the flute solo, voiceovers were heard sharing Wile’s story.
Mina Horan sang “Bad Blood” by Taylor Swift, showing off her vocals and energy. The crowd sang and clapped along before shining and waving phone flashlights back and forth. The crowd abrupted into cheers immediately after her performance.
Georgia Bomgardner performed a violin solo of “A Spoonful of Sugar” from Mary Poppins, showcasing her instrumental skills.
Celia Cosentino danced to Katy Perry’s “Roar” with several backup performers dancing in unison with her. Towards the end of the song, the group broke out into a kickline, prompting the crowd to cheer loudly. It’s safe to say that the BJC heard Cosentino roar.
Mario Ouardi stepped onto the stage in a black sparkly suit jacket and performed a Penn State favorite: “Sweet Caroline.” Ouardi had the crowd “reaching out” and swaying back and forth, putting the crowd back in Beaver Stadium — mentally, at least.
Abby Munoz took the spotlight to perform ABBA’s hit song “Mamma Mia,” showing off her amazing and strong vocals.
Following Munoz, Adeline Cosentino virtually sang a heartwarming rendition of “Somewhere Over The Rainbow”.
Carly Wilfong then grooved across the stage, dancing to upbeat music with her friend. The pair were in sync for the entirety of the performance.
Up next, Juliet Bomgardner showed off her talents virtually with a video of her ice-skating and spinning to the iconic “How To Train Your Dragon” theme song.
Melaina Horan, along with her older sister, showcased her inner cheerleader by leading the crowd in the “Let’s Go PSU” chant. Complete with pompoms and a cheerleading fit, the Horan sisters brought a taste of Penn State football to THON.
Shiloh and Harper Crimmel performed an energetic and fun dance routine with four members of the Lionettes. Watch out ladies, looks like you have some competition.
Connor Rowan sang “This Is Me” from “The Greatest Showman,” with several brothers of Pi Kappa Phi singing and swaying in the background. The performance, once again, sparked the crowd to turn on its phone flashlights and wave them from side to side.

Devin Pulaski performed a cute rendition of “Good To Be Alive” by Meghan Trainor alongside her younger brother. Towards the last few verses of the song, Pulaski changed some lyrics to plug “BJC” and “FTK,” encouraging the crowd to sing along. The brother-sister duo ended the performance hugging each other in the most wholesome way possible.
Next up was Hailey Dougherty, who shared an original poem she wrote called “Five Years.” The poem walked the audience through her experience with childhood cancer and how it had taken over her life for five years.
Levi and Christian Krodel kept the crowd on its toes with an epic and intricate lightsaber battle. The brothers were dressed as a Jedi and a Sith, in a fight against good vs. evil. However, the duel ended on a cliffhanger with the brothers lying on the stage, as their background performers held up signs that read “The Saga Continues THON 2026.”

Following the showdown of the century, Nevaeh Risser brought a light-hearted energy to the stage by singing “From The Start” by Laufey. The crowd was in awe by the end of her wholesome performance.
Closing out this year’s talent show, 12-year-old Easton Fleagle sang “On Top of the World” by Imagine Dragons and played the guitar like a pro with the crowd clapping along.
