Turning Point USA To Host ‘Good Luck Charlie’ Star Leigh-Allyn Baker March 27

TV actress and political activist Leigh-Allyn Baker, best known for her role as Amy Duncan on Disney Channel’s “Good Luck Charlie,” will join Penn State’s Turning Point USA chapter at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 25.

Aside from playing one of the most popular Disney Channel moms, Baker has played other reoccurring characters, such as Ellen in “Will & Grace” and Hannah Webster in “Charmed,” according to IMDb. She made her film debut in the comedy-horror film “Shrunken Heads” before starring on many popular TV shows, including “That 70’s Show.”

Over the years, Baker voiced many characters in cartoons, like “Spider-Man: The Animated Series,” “Jake and the Never Land Pirates,” “Star vs. the Forces of Evil,” and “Mickey Mouse Mixed-Up Adventures,” to name a few.

On top of her fame, over recent years, Baker has also been in the spotlight for sharing her viewpoints on current social and political issues via social media and actively speaking on tours across the nation. Baker has been invited to many Turning Point USA events, including its “AmericaFest” conference in December 2024, along with several universities.

According to her Instagram, as Baker was talking about her thoughts on the College Football Playoff, she revealed her Penn State tie, mentioning how her husband is an alumnus.

According to 25Live, Turning Point’s chapter will tentatively run from 7 to 9 p.m. in Forum 108. Students and community members can register for the free event here.
