Report: Mike Gesicki Signs Three-Year Extension With Cincinnati Bengals

Former Penn State football tight end Mike Gesicki has signed a three-year contract extension with the Cincinnati Bengals worth up to $25.5 million, according to NFL insider Adam Schefter. This includes $12 million in the first year of his contract.

After signing a one-year deal with the Bengals last season, the tight end recorded 65 catches for 665 yards and two touchdowns during his first season with the Bengals. This was one of Gesicki’s best seasons in his seven-year career in the NFL.

Gesicki played for the Nittany Lions from 2014 to 2017. During his time at Penn State, he recorded 1,481 receiving yards and 129 catches. He also scored 15 touchdowns over his four seasons before being drafted in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft by the Miami Dolphins.
