Report: Former Penn State Tight End Mike Gesicki Signs With Cincinnati Bengals

Former Penn State tight end Mike Gesicki is reportedly signing a one-year deal, worth up to $3.25 million, with the Cincinnati Bengals according to ESPN insider Adam Schefter.

Gesicki shined at Penn State after committing as a three-star recruit. He finished his Nittany Lion career with a program tight-end record of 1,481 receiving yards and 129 catches. Gesicki hauled in 15 touchdowns over his four seasons and earned his share of honors as an integral part of the blue and white.

The tight end was selected in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft by the Miami Dolphins where he spent five years and recorded 18 touchdowns. Gesicki spent last season with the New England Patriots on a one-year deal in which he tallied 29 catches for 244 yards and two touchdowns.

Gesicki will now enter his seventh NFL season on the Bengals and join fellow Nittany Lion Nick Scott.
