Lady Lions Forward Grace Hall Enters Transfer Portal

Penn State women’s basketball forward Grace Hall has entered the transfer portal, she announced Saturday. Hall became the first Lady Lion to hit the portal after the 2024-25 season.

Hall started her collegiate career at LSU in the 2021-22 season, where she made seven appearances for the Tigers. She then joined Wabash Valley College for JUCO ball in 2022-23, but she redshirted the season.

The Homewood, Illinois, native transferred to Penn State ahead of her 2023-24 redshirt sophomore year. She played in 31 games and averaged 2.2 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 0.2 assists per game, respectively.

The redshirt junior’s role with the Lady Lions grew in 2024-25. She started 15 games and played in a total of 29, more than doubling her time on the floor compared to the previous season. Hall averaged 5.7 points, three rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game in her second year at Penn State. She scored a season-high 16 points in the season finale against Rutgers.
