Report: Penn State Hoops Freshman Hudson Ward Enters Transfer Portal

Penn State men’s basketball freshman forward Hudson Ward plans to enter the transfer portal, according to Rivals. Ward is the second Nittany Lion to hit the program this offseason after Jahvin Carter announced his intention to enter the portal last week.

The 6’7″, 210-pound forward was a four-star out of Edmonton, Alberta, and was the No. 28 small forward and the No. 137-ranked player in the class of 2024. In his first season at Penn State, he played 21 minutes across eight games and attempted one shot.

Dominick Stewart, Miles Goodman, and Joe Sedora are the remaining Nittany Lions from the 2024 recruitment class.
