Benjamin Roitman Named THON 2026 Executive Director

Just one month after THON 2025 wrapped, the annual 46-hour dance marathon already has its sights set on next year’s fundraiser. To kick things off, THON named Benjamin Roitman as its executive director for THON 2026.

Roitman, an education and public policy major, previously served as THON 2025’s supply logistics director. Before joining the organization’s executive committee, Roitman served as a rules and regulations committee member, dancer relations committee member, and supply logistics captain inventory liaison in his four years of service For The Kids.

“I THON so that families can focus primarily on being a family,” Roitman told Onward State in February. “Childhood is such a beautiful and joyful experience. It is an honor to have an opportunity to provide a space where families and volunteers can dream beyond cancer. We build a home where kids can be kids and simultaneously provide funds that will one day end this disease. With a mission so powerful and pure it is hard to not pour as much energy as possible into this organization.”

Roitman’s first task in his new position will be to select the remainder of the THON 2026 executive committee over the coming weeks ahead of the organization’s 53rd dance marathon.
