Penn State Rock Ensemble To Debut April 29

The Penn State School of Music will host the debut performance of the Penn State Rock Ensemble at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 29, in the School of Music Recital Hall.

This new ensemble is directed by Jesse Moore and brings together a diverse blend of students from across Penn State to perform a dynamic set list of the best of 20th and 21st-century rock and metal music.

Throughout the semester so far, students have collaborated in weekly rehearsals to develop their skills on various instruments, including the guitar, bass, drums, keyboard, and vocals. The concert will feature a rotating lineup of musicians performing iconic songs from artists such as The Strokes, Linkin Park, Arctic Monkey, Nirvana, Paramore, and many more.

The performance is free and open to the public.
