Waka Flocka Flame To Open For SPA GloRilla Concert

Rapper Waka Flocka Flame will open for GloRilla at SPA’s April 3 show at the Bryce Jordan Center, SPA announced Thursday. The concert is set for an 8 p.m. start on Thursday.

Waka Flocka Flame burst onto the rap scene in 2009 with “O Let’s Do It,” followed by the 2010 album “Flackabeli,” which debuted at No. 6 on the Billboard 200. “Flackaveli” included hits like “No Hands,” “Hard In Da Paint,” “Grove St. Party,” and more. He released his second and, thus far, final studio album in 2012, “Triple F Life: Friends, Fans & Family.”

The rapper has been nominated for four awards, with “No Hands” winning Best Club Banger at the 2011 BET Hip Hop awards.

Tickets to see Mr. Flame and GloRilla are sold out on Ticketmaster. Doors to the concert will open at 7 p.m., with student performers DJ KAL$ and Orchesis kicking off the show.
