Report: Former Lady Lions Guard Gabby Elliott To Transfer To Arizona State

Former Penn State women’s basketball guard Gabby Elliott is expected to transfer to Arizona, per On3’s Talia Goodman. She became the fourth Lady Lion after Gracie Merkle, Jill Jekot, and Grace Hall to find a new program this offseason.

Elliott started her college career with Clemson during the 2020-21 season where she spent two seasons. In two seasons, she played a total of 37 games before transferring to Michigan State. She was plagued with injuries during her two seasons there as she only played a total of 15 games. After that, she transferred to Penn State ahead of the 2024-25 season.

In her only year at Penn State, Elliott averaged 13.6 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game. She entered the transfer portal once again before finding her new home with Arizona State. Four players remain on the Lady Lions’ roster after nine players from last year’s team entered the transfer portal.
