Report: Former Lady Lion Guard Jill Jekot Transfers To St. Joseph’s

Former Penn State women’s basketball guard Jill Jekot has committed to transfer to St. Joseph’s, per On3. Jekot became the first Lady Lion transfer to commit to a new program.

Jekot, the sister of Lady Lions alum Kelly Jekot, made 21 appearances this year. In 124 minutes, Jekot notched 18 points, 17 rebounds, and five steals. Jekot has three years of eligibility remaining.

Four players from last season’s team remain on the Lady Lions’ roster after Jekot, Cam RustTalayah WalkerAlli CampbellGrace HallGracie MerkleMoriah MurrayAriana Williams, and Gabby Elliott hit the portal.
