Best State College Bar Experiences: Elite Eight

March Madness may be over in San Antonio, but we’re still going strong in State College.

Onward State’s Best State College Bar Experiences bracket is down to its final eight teams, and some leaders have emerged from the pack. We’ve had some impressive upsets, including a No. 6 seed making it all this way.

You can vote here through 5 p.m. on Sunday for your favorite bar experiences.

Hofbräuhaus Region

As it was almost preordained, Doggie’s dominated the Hofbräuhaus Region. It’ll be a civil war to decide who makes the Final Four from this one.

DJ Yemi Region

Unlike Doggie’s, Champs Downtown couldn’t get one representative on what was supposed to be its side of the bracket. 55 Days of Cafe is still hot, especially now, but it’s hard to see a powerhouse like Pickle’s deck go down without a fight.

Luke Combs Region

This might just be our tightest race of the Elite Eight. Pickle’s Country Night was a bit of a low-rated No. 1 seed during this tournament, but it’s still made its way this far. Meanwhile, Cafe teas have been blowing through the competition.

Daydrinking Region

Antifragile’s cheesesteaks have been mounting plenty of upsets during this cycle, but it faces a very strong No. 1 seed in Cafe’s patio and deck. There’s still hope for Uncle John’s Jawns, but it might be waning.
