Your 2025 Blue-White Weekend Weather Forecast

Penn State football is finally back, folks.

Tailgates, daydrinking, and of course, the Nittany Lions, are all back for one more day to close out the school year. With another Blue-White Weekend on the horizon, knowing the weather conditions while you’re out and about in the tailgate lots and Beaver Stadium will help plan out your weekend and gameday fits.

To make sure you and your Blue-White crew are all set for the big weekend ahead, make sure to dress appropriately, and stay up to date with AccuWeather’s forecast throughout the weekend.

Here’s what the weekend’s forecast looks like.

Friday, May 25

Throughout the day, expect some partly cloudy sunshine with a couple of brief showers late in the afternoon. Reaching a high of 70°, expect a RealFeel of 77°, a RealFeel Shade of 68°, and a very high maximum UV index of eight.

With a 61% chance of rain, 12% chance of thunderstorms, cloud cover of 60%, and wind gusts of up to 22 mph, be sure to pack an emergency hoodie or jacket if you plan to be out and about in the morning or afternoon.

By the evening, expect cloudy and mild conditions with a few showers. The RealFeel is expected to drop to 61° with an 88% chance of rain.

Saturday, May 26

According to Accuweather, gameday will consist of chilly winds and partly cloudy skies with a couple of showers and a thunderstorm early on in the day. Periods of clouds and sunshine are expected to scatter throughout the afternoon, reaching a high of 67° with a RealFeel of 66°.

The maximum UV index is expected to be moderate, only reaching three, with an 86% chance of rain and winds reaching 32 mph. According to Accuweather, there will be a 34% chance of thunderstorms throughout the day with a cloud cover of 83%. Be sure to have another layer of clothing, and maybe even an umbrella, at the tailgate lots.

Once the sun sets, the temperature will reach a low of 41° with wind gusts remaining the same.

Sunday, May 27

As alumni, families, and friends make their way out of Happy Valley, breezy conditions and plenty of sunshine are expected to fill the atmosphere, creating a nice end to Blue-White Weekend. The UV Index will reach a very high maximum of eight with a 0% chance of rain.
