Two-Car Accident Sends At Least One To Hospital & Shuts Down Park Avenue

At least one person was taken to the hospital after a two-car accident on Park Avenue on Thursday afternoon.

A car was flipped over with its windows smashed at the entrance to the Snyder Agricultural Arena. Police at the scene could not speak on the incident other than that two cars were flipped over. Park Avenue was closed from Porter Road to Orchard Road.

The road was shut down at some point before 6:39 p.m., according to a tweet from the Bryce Jordan Center. Officers left the scene around 7:15 p.m.

Penn State police, State College police, and Alpha Fire Co. reported to the scene.
