Fez Kicks Off Movin’ On’s 50th Anniversary With Electric Vibes

After being crowned Battle Of The Bands champions, Fez took to the bright lights of the Movin’ On stage with a performance to set the tone for the rest of the night.

The State College-based scuba rock band took the stage at 4 p.m., immediately rocking the IM Fields despite the mixed showers.

They kicked off their set with a few fan favorites, including “Mud,” “Hole,” and the energetic “Knob Lock Door Door.”

After getting the energy up early, lead singer Xavier Hans shouted, “When I say Tom, you say Jerry!” which the crowd echoed back before the band launched into their song, “Tom and Jerry.”

“How long should they fight?” Hans asked. The crowd responded with, “To the end!,” as the band moved into “Seeing Ghosts.”

Fez also debuted a new track mid-set and later brought out a special guest, Harry Hons from the Sunday Antiques. The audience stayed loud, with fans dancing, shouting lyrics, and even forming a mini mosh pit during one of the heavier songs.

Between a computer-themed bit and the action on stage, a fan in a yellow shirt climbed onto someone’s shoulders but was quickly told to get down by event security.

Hans took a moment to thank the “Fezticles” for rallying the troops before the band closed with “I Just Want Something.”

Fez left the stage to chants of “Fez! Fez! Fez!” echoing from the crowd, capping off an electric opening to Movin’ On 2025.
