[Photo Story] Kane Brown Brings ‘The High Road Tour’ To Bryce Jordan Center

Another country music artist made their way to the Bryce Jordan Center — this time, it was Kane Brown bringing his “The High Road Tour” to State College. Brown lit up the stage with his biggest hits, and while the power didn’t actually go out because of his performance, a Happy Valley thunderstorm did cause a temporary stoppage right in the middle of his set.

Our photographers were they to capture every moment.

The night opened with up-and-coming pop-country music artist Ashley Cooke.

The second act of the night, American Idol winner Scotty McCreery, had the crowd singing along with him to his songs “It Matters to Her” and “Cab in a Solo,” as well as cover songs like “I Won’t Back Down” by Tom Petty.

Brown opened his set by popping out of the middle of the stage.

The recent storms still had one more in them when it knocked out the power at the BJC for about 20 minutes, but that didn’t stop Brown or his fans. Once the lights came back on, the energy picked up right where it left off.

Brown performed all his hits, ending the night with arguably his most popular song, “Miles on it.”
