Penn State Baseball Pitcher Sean Williams And Infielder Tyler Rowling To Enter Transfer Portal

Penn State baseball pitcher Sean Williams and middle infielder Tyler Rowling announced they will officially enter the transfer portal. The pair posted their intentions on X on Wednesday.
Right-handed pitcher Sean Williams enters the portal with three years of eligibility left, after making four appearances for the Nittany Lions this season. Williams totaled five innings on the year while recording a 1.80 ERA.
Middle Infielder Tyler Rowling is also packing his bags to leave Happy Valley and hit the portal with four remaining years of eligibility. Rowling did not see the field for Penn State this season.
Williams and Rowling are the fifth and sixth Nittany Lions’ to leave Mike Gambino’s program for the transfer portal. Williams and Rowling join pitcher Charles Mau, who announced his move to the portal on May 12. Infielder Jake Haarde made his move on May 16, as well as infielder Alec Warden and pitcher Zach Mizrahi who both declared on May 18.
