Penn State Baseball’s Big Ten Tournament Matchup With USC Moved To 2 P.M.

Penn State baseball’s Thursday, May 22, start time for its final game of pool play in the Big Ten Tournament has been moved to 2 p.m.

The No. 9 seed Nittany Lions were originally scheduled to play the No. 4 seed Trojans at 3 p.m. at Charles Schwab Field in Omaha, Nebraska. With a victory, Penn State will move on to the Big Ten Tournament semifinals.

The blue and white lost the season series to USC at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park in early April. Penn State won the opening game, 3-1, before losing the next two.

Mike Gambino’s squad took care of business on Wednesday, defeating No. 5 seed Washington 5-3. Ryan Desanto got the job done on the mound in the start for Penn State while Paxton Kling led the offense to push just enough runs across the plate against the Huskies.
