Former Penn State Football Player Julian Fleming Suffers Serious Injuries In Fatal ATV Crash

Former Penn State football wide receiver Julian Fleming was involved in an ATV accident Friday night that left him seriously injured and killed his girlfriend, Alyssa Boyd, according to a Pennsylvania State Police report.

The accident, caused by a collision with a deer, occurred at 8:13 p.m. in Columbia Township.

Fleming, 24, was transported to Guthrie Troy Community Hospital, while Boyd, 23, was pronounced dead at the scene. According to the police report, neither of the two was wearing safety equipment.

Fleming spent four years at Ohio State before transferring to Penn State for his final season of eligibility. In his career, he had 93 receptions for 1,139 yards and eight touchdowns. He recently signed with the Green Bay Packers as an undrafted free agent.

The crash is under further investigation.
