UPUA Vice President Applications Now Open

After Rasha Elwakil was impeached shortly after being elected University Park Undergraduate Association (UPUA) president, former Vice President Fletcher Port assumed the role, leaving the slot empty.

The UPUA has now opened applications for a new vice president to assist President Port in running the UPUA’s 20th Assembly.

The application is open to all University Park students and will close on June 14 at 11:59 p.m.

The UPUA vice president acts as a key leader, overseeing all internal operations of the UPUA. They preside over General Assembly meetings, coordinate across branches of the student government, and chair both the Caucus Roundtable and Internal Works Board.

The vice president also works on initiatives across campus that expand the UPUA’s impact and support the student body.

Joining the UPUA as vice president is a chance to be a voice for fellow students and get involved in a student government that fights to make everyone’s Penn State experience safe and enjoyable. For those interested, the application can be found on the UPUA’s website.
