Penn State-Nevada Scheduled For 3:30 P.M. Kickoff On CBS

Penn State football’s August 30 season opener against Nevada is set for a 3:30 p.m. kickoff on CBS, the team announced Thursday.

The 2025 opening game will be the first all-time matchup between the two programs. The Nittany Lions were originally meant to open the 2020 season against the Wolf Pack, but Nevada flipped its Week 1 opponent to Arkansas during the 2019 campaign.

Penn State and Nevada agreemed to a one-game series, making this the only slated matchup between the two programs.
