Penn State Baseball Adds Kyle Emmons From The Transfer Portal

Pitcher Kyle Emmons has signed for Penn State baseball, transferring from Towson University.

The rising junior had 19 appearances in 2025, giving up 20 hits while reaching 27 strikeouts. Through his two seasons at Towson, Emmons totaled 32 appearances with 33 hits against and 43 strikeouts.

He averaged a 3.67 ERA in the 2025 season, with a collegiate career average of 5.18 runs.

Emmons was the No. 35 overall player out of Maryland and the No. 12 right-handed pitcher when entering college.

The pitcher transfers to Happy Valley alongside two recent infield transfers as the team capitalizes on its growing success.
