Quavo To Headline LightsUP Festival August 28

Quavo will headline Penn State’s Student Programming Association and Movin’ On’s “LightsUP” festival on Thursday, August 28, on the HUB lawn.

Quavo is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter, best known as a member of hip-hop trio Migos alongside Offset and Takeoff. He has also had a strong solo career outside of the group, recognized for his versatility and role in shaping the sound of modern trap music.

His debut solo album, “Quavo Huncho”, in 2018 featured collaborations with Drake, Cardi B, and Travis Scott. Quavo has collaborated across genres, including pop, R&B, and reggaeton.

LightsUP will also feature special events, student performers, and an opener, all to be announced.

This marks the fifth installment of the festival, which started in 2021. Last year, R&B and hip-hop artist Swae Lee headlined.
