Anthony ‘Spice’ Adams Named 2025 Homecoming Grand Marshal

Former Penn State defensive tackle and NFL veteran Anthony “Spice” Adams will serve as the 2025 Homecoming Grand Marshal, Homecoming Executive Director Ethan Lemin announced Sunday during Be A Part From The Start, a pep rally for first-year students hosted by the Lion Ambassadors.

Adams starred for the Nittany Lions from 1999 to 2002 before being selected in the second round of the 2003 NFL Draft by the San Francisco 49ers. He went on to enjoy a nine-year professional career, spending time with both the 49ers and the Chicago Bears.

Following his playing career, Adams made a name for himself in the entertainment world. He co-hosted The Great American Baking Show for two seasons and has built a popular social media presence through Chicago Bears commentary, comedic skits, and a wide variety of digital content.

This year’s Homecoming celebration will run from Sunday, October 5, through Saturday, October 11, capped off by Penn State football’s matchup against Northwestern in Beaver Stadium.

Adams follows 2024 Grand Marshal Martha King, a Penn State Mont Alto alumna and professional lumberjill competitor.
