Penn State Men’s Lacrosse Adds Nick Cardile As Assistant Coach

Penn State men’s lacrosse has added alum Nick Cardile as an assistant coach under Jeff Tambroni.
Cardile played for Tambroni for five years, wearing the No. 16 for two seasons. Throughout his time in Happy Valley, the defender was a two-time All-American, helping the team win the Big Ten regular season and tournament titles. He was a part of a historical season as Penn State advanced to the NCAA Final Four that same year, recording a record 16 wins. He started in all 16 games that season, tallying 40 ground balls and 22 caused turnovers.
In his Penn State career, he recorded 101 ground balls and 53 caused turnovers through 63 games. He was a two-time captain.
Cardile joined Gettysburg College’s coaching staff as an assistant coach in 2021, where he stayed for the last four seasons. He has helped the team reach the NCAA Tournament three times.
