Former Penn State Football Linebacker Curtis Jacobs Waived By Tennessee Titans

Former Penn State linebacker Curtis Jacobs was waived by the Tennessee Titans on Wednesday afternoon, per ESPN’s Turron Davenport.
After four years with the Nittany Lions, Jacobs went undrafted but signed with the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent. The Maryland native was unable to make the Chiefs’ initial 53-man roster but was immediately claimed off waivers by New England. He appeared in nine games for the Patriots during the 2024 season, totaling four tackles on the year.
Jacobs was released in March, but he quickly found a new home in Tennessee, where he spent all of the 2025 preseason, racking up eight total tackles over the Titans’ three preseason exhibitions.
The 23-year-old now searches for the fourth home of his young NFL career.
