Saquon Barkley & Micah Parsons Named To 2025 NFL Top 100 Players List

Former Penn State running back Saquon Barkley and former Penn State linebacker Micah Parsons were named to the NFL’s Top 100 Players of 2025 list.
Barkley took home the crown at No. 1 while Parsons slotted in at No. 36.
Barkley’s Penn State career spanned three seasons from 2015-2017, where he appeared in 38 games and rushed for 3,843 yards and 43 touchdowns, which still stands as the program’s all-time rushing touchdowns record.
Barkley was taken with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft by the New York Giants, where he won the 2018 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year award. He was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles prior to the 2024 NFL season, where he completely revitalized his career after a few injury-ridden years in New York. Barkley won the NFL Offensive Player of the Year award, Best NFL Player at the 2025 ESPY awards, and was a key piece of the Eagles’ Super Bowl LIX title run.
Parsons donned the blue and white for two seasons in 2018 and 2019. He totaled 192 total tackles, 19 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, and six forced fumbles in his Penn State career before forgoing his remaining eligibility in 2020 and declaring for the 2021 NFL Draft.
Parsons was taken No. 12 overall by the Dallas Cowboys, where he quickly rose to NFL superstardom behind 256 total tackles, 52.5 sacks, and nine forced fumbles. He was traded to the Green Bay Packers on August 28 and signed a four-year, $188 million contract, becoming the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history.
