Harvest Fest Returns To Student Farm September 18

Fall is almost here, folks!

As the cooler weather creeps in, the Penn State Student Farm Club is gearing up for its 10th annual Harvest Fest on Thursday, September 18. The free event will take place on the Dr. Keiko Miwa Ross Student Farm from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The evening will include a full slate of activities, including, but not limited to, a petting zoo, succulent planting, and sun prints. Festivalgoers can also enjoy food samples straight from the farm, or from various local vendors such as Paul’s Provisions, Housing and Food Services at Penn State, the Village at Penn State, and State College Area High School.

Free buses from Berkey Creamery will run from 3:45 p.m. until 7:15 p.m. For students unable to make the bus, the CATA Bus H route will also offer service to the farm, and students can utilize the SPIN bike docking area next to the farm’s main gate.

Any questions or concerns surrounding the event can be directed to [email protected].
