18 Players Out For Penn State Against Villanova

Penn State football has 18 players out for week three’s battle against Villanova.

Wide receivers Kaden Saunders, Lyrick Samuel, Josiah Brown, Logan Cunningham, and Peter Gonzalez will remain out for the Nittany Lions. Brown and Saunders are battling long-term injuries. Gonzales and Samuel remain out of the lineup. Tight end Andrew Olesh will also miss Saturday’s game.

As for the defensive line, Max Granville, Mason Robinson, Jordan Mayer, Mylachi Williams, De’Andre Cook, and Kaleb Artis all stick to the list. Granville is expected to miss the season. Artis is still nursing an injury sustained last season.

Quarterback Bekkem Kritza is out for the third straight game to open the season. Running back Amiel Davis is a fresh name on the list after appearing in Penn State’s season-opening win over Nevada.

Linebacker Kari Jackson and cornerback Donte Nastasi will miss action on defense.

Offensive line duo Liam Horan and Brady O’Hara will miss their third consecutive game for the Nittany Lions.
