Brainstorming What The Nittany Lion Does In His Free Time

We all know and love the Nittany Lion. One could argue he’s the pride and joy of Penn State athletics, giving the people what they want: dance moves, energy, spirit, and good looks. With that being said, the Nittany Lion remains a mystery to many. Ladies want to love him. The guys want to be him. But who really is the Nittany Lion?

With a mystery on our hands, we decided to brainstorm some ideas of what the Nittany Lion might do in his free time.

Cooking

With a busy schedule like his, the Nittany Lion must love to meal prep for the week and keep himself fueled. We imagine he loves making chicken and rice, ground beef, and maybe throws in some eggs for some extra protein.

Watching Hoops

We can’t explain this, but this guy just seems like he knows ball.

Flexing in the Mirror

The Nittany Lion loves to do those one-arm push-ups before the start of every football game, so he must be jacked. With his physique being hidden from the world under that costume, we can only imagine he flexes in the mirror at any opportunity he gets.

Apple Picking

We feel like this guy enjoys his fruits and veggies now and then, so we imagine he heads over to Way Fruit Farm to pick some fresh apples.

Going Out On Dates

It’s no secret some ladies want to hear this lion roar. With chicks knocking down his door, the Nittany Lion has options. However, we bet there’s one special lady lion who is just right for our fella. We bet the Nittany Lion enjoys long walks around the arboretum and treating his special someone to some grilled stickies at the Corner Room every so often.

Enjoy An Occasional Brew

The Nittany Lion works long days, which inherently makes him quite deserving of a nice cold brew now and then. Not sure if he’s an IPA kind of guy or not, though.

FaceTime His Grandparents

Family is important, and someone who exudes as much positivity as the lion does has to be a huge family guy. We bet he calls his grandparents once or twice a week, giving Granny a recap of his days hyping up crowds and playing air guitar on his tail.
