Tyler Warren Named NFL’s Rookie Of The Week

Former Penn State Football star and current Indianapolis Colts tight end Tyler Warren was named the Pepsi Zero Sugar Rookie of the Week for week two, the Colts announced on Thursday.

Warren reeled in four of his seven targets for 79 yards in the Colts’ 29-28 victory over the Denver Broncos on Sunday.

Selected with the 14th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, Warren is already developing into a legitimate weapon for Daniel Jones and the Colts’ offense. The 23-year-old is the first tight end in NFL history to record over 75 yards in each of his first two career games.

Jahan Dotson was the last Penn Stater to be named the NFL’s Rookie of the Week, back in September of 2022.

Warren and the Colts will take on the Tennessee Titans at 1 p.m. on Sunday, September 21.
