Class Of 2027 Four-Star Wide Receiver Khalil Taylor Decommits From Penn State Football

Class of 2027 four-star wide receiver Khalil Taylor has decommitted from Penn State football, per On3’s Hayes Fawcett. Taylor committed to the Nittany Lions in March.
Taylor is listed as the No. 3 player in Pennsylvania, No. 11 wide receiver in the class of 2027, and the No. 56 player in the nation, according to the 247 Composite rankings.
James Franklin recently visited Taylor at Pine-Richland High School in Gibsonia, Pennsylvania, during Penn State’s first bye week of the season. After back-to-back Penn State losses, the Nittany Lions lose out on the highly touted wideout.
He was the third-highest rated commit in Penn State’s No. 2-ranked 2027 recruiting class. Taylor is the first to decommit from the class. The Nittany Lions are now left with five-star running back Kemon Spell, four-star offensive tackle Layton Von Brandt, and four-star cornerback Gabe Jenkins.
Indiana, Kentucky, Pitt, and Maryland were all in the mix for Taylor before he committed to Penn State.
