Penn State Men’s Hockey Forward JJ Wiebusch Named Big Ten First Star Of The Week

After a five-goal series against Clarkson, JJ Wiebusch was awarded the Big Ten First Star of the week, the conference announced on Tuesday.
Wiebusch is the first player in program history to score four goals in a game; he did so during a 6-4 loss to Clarkson on Thursday. The sophomore scored another goal in the 5-2 win against Clarkson on Friday.
This was the second consecutive Big Ten Star of the Week for the men’s hockey team after Charlie Cerrato was honored last week.
Penn State’s men’s hockey returns to the ice at Pegula Ice Arena against Long Island at 7:30 p.m. Friday, October 17.
