Three-Star Cornerback Jaziel Hart Decommits From Penn State Football

Class of 2026 three-star cornerback Jaziel Hart has decommitted from Penn State on Tuesday, per Hayes Fawcett. The decommitment comes three days after James Franklin was fired.
The Roanoke, Virginia, native is the No. 16 player in the state and No. 43 cornerback and No. 557 nationally in the 2026 recruiting class, per the 247 Composite rankings.
Hart committed to the Nittany Lions in May this year, joining the then-No. 4 recruiting class in the country. Penn State has seen an abundance of decommitments after firing Franklin, including Kahlil Taylor.
The cornerback holds offers from the likes of Michigan, Notre Dame, South Carolina, and UNC. He has not made it clear which team leads at this moment.
