HackPSU To Host Hackathon October 25 & 26

HackPSU will host its semesterly hackathon from Saturday, October 25, through Sunday, October 26, at the ECoRE Building.

Students from universities across the nation will compete in teams to create projects that tackle real-world problems while showing their technical and problem solving skills. The weekend-long event is open to people of all skill sets and majors.

The event spans a full 24 hours. It will start at 2 p.m. on Saturday, with the conclusion of the hacking at 1:45 p.m. on Sunday. Throughout the weekend, there will be entertainment, technologically-engaging challenges, educational resources, and more.

During the judging exposition, at least one member of each team is required to present their project to the judges, whom will then determine the winners based on the presentation and the quality of the work.

There are multiple categories for prizes, which all total up to over $1,000. Some categories include Best Domain Name, Entrepreneurship, and Best Use of Gemini API.
