Three-Star Cornerback Julian Peterson Decommits From Penn State Football

Class of 2026 three-star cornerback Julian Peterson has decommitted from Penn State football, he announced on social media Wednesday afternoon. Peterson committed to the Nittany Lions in January.

Peterson is the seventh player to decommit from Penn State’s class of 2026 in the aftermath of James Franklin’s firing.

Peterson is tabbed as the No. 9 player in New Jersey, No. 51 cornerback in the class of 2026, and the No. 630 player in the nation, per the 247 Composite Rankings.

Peterson holds offers from other Big Ten programs Maryland, Minnesota, and Rutgers. His only official visit was with Penn State on May 30.
