Lady Lions Announce 2025-26 Promotional Schedule
It’s almost time for the return of Penn State women’s basketball, folks.
The Lady Lions announced their promotional schedule for the 2025 season on Monday. The 12-game schedule features a THON game, a White Out, and Senior Day, among others.

The Lady Lions will begin their promotional schedule in their home opener against Bucknell on Monday, November 3. They’ll follow up with their Military Appreciation match against Cincinnati on Friday, November 7, a Field Trip Day match against Coppin State on Wednesday, November 12, and their PRIDE Day match against Yale on Sunday, November 30.
Penn State will host its Big Ten home opener against Nebraska on December 6 and close out 2025 with a New Year’s Eve match against UCLA.
To kick off 2026, the Lady Lions will hold the We Back Pat game against Illinois on January 11. Closing out January, they will host Rutgers for the annual White Out game on January 18 and celebrate National Girls and Women in Sports Day against Minnesota on January 26.
The final three promotional games will take place in February. The Lady Lions will host Michigan State for a DEI/Black History Month Awareness game on February 7, followed by the Pink Zone game against Northwestern on February 15. They will close out their promotional schedule on February 25 with Senior Day against USC.
Caroline Kieger’s squad will look to bounce back after finishing 10-19 last season and only winning one conference game. Penn State will begin its 2025-26 campaign on Monday, November 3, at the Bryce Jordan Center.
