[Photo Story] Penn State Celebrates 100 Days ‘Til THON

It’s that time again! With just 100 days until THON 2026, the HUB was filled with student excitement.

As students prepare for another 46-hour dance marathon, Penn State students celebrated the 100-day milestone. The 17-day fundraiser raised a record-breaking $2,077,353.59 For The Kids, kicking off THON season in style.

From silent discos to hair donations, this year’s 100 Days ’Til THON event brought all the energy to kick off the countdown, and our photographers were there to capture all the fun.

In Alumni Hall, there were dances and challenges to keep everyone entertained.

There were also booths where attendees could send dancers notes or leave their mark on the 100 Days milestone.

The silent disco was a big hit, as always.

Once the silent disco wrapped up, students gathered on the High School Musical steps to hear from a THON family and musical performers.

Next up, students watched as their peers donated their hair For The Kids.

Finally, after one last line dance, all eyes turned to the stairs as students excitedly awaited the results of their fundraising efforts.

When the total was revealed, the HUB erupted in celebration. Students raised just over $2 million — a new Dream Forward record.

We dance in 99, folks!
